Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet
The first cabriolet from the MercedesMaybach brand has made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is set to roll out across the world in 2017.
The open-top four-seater S 650 Cabriolet takes luxury to another level with exceptional detailing throughout. The body styling is based on the S-class models, with a number of distinguishing design features including a front bumper featuring a restyled lower section largely in chrome, Swarovski-encrusted headlamps, exclusive 20-inch Maybach forged wheels in a powerful design with a bichromatic finish, and Maybach badging on the interior and exterior. On opening the doors, the Maybach logo is projected onto the floor by means of entrance lighting. The exclusive interior is in nut-brown magnolia trim, which is echoed by the bespoke luggage set (which comes as standard), tailored to fit the boot.
Power for the S 650 Cabriolet comes from the same twin-turbocharged 6.0l V12 petrol engine used by the Mercedes-AMG S65 saloon, seven-speed 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox, and an estimated 0–100kph speed of 4.1 seconds. The ride has been enhanced with a specially tuned version of the S-class AirMatic suspension, so the ride will be as smooth as the looks.
Limited to just 300 editions, each has a numbered panel – which extends to the individually numbered key rings. Around US$247,000.
