Fun in Barcelona!

These six attractions in the famous Spanish city will make your day.

L’Aquàrium de Barcelona
Home to 11,000 marine animals from 450 species, this is the largest Mediterraneanthemed aquarium in the world. Explore the 80m-long transparent underwater tunnel, where you can see a variety of fish including sharks! Although you will love spending time here at any time of day, you won’t want to miss lunchtime, when your favourite animals are also fed.

Montjuïc cable car and castle
Be mesmerised by the breathtaking city and sea views as you ride the cable car to Montjuïc Castle on the summit of Montjuïc hill. The castle is an old military fortress dating back to 1640.

Tibidabo Amusement Park
What is your favourite ride? The Ferris wheel? The roller coaster? Or the carousel? Ride them all at this amusement park that opened in 1905. Also enjoy the interactive water show and entertainment with light, sound and colour effects, as well as a puppet show in the Marionetarium.

Dragon hunting
Barcelona is full of dragons! Hundreds of them are hiding in the buildings, streets and squares of the city. Set aside some time to go ‘dragon hunting’ and see how many you can spot. Don’t worry they are only decorations!

Museu de la Xocolata
For a chocoholic, this museum is heaven. Not only can you taste different kinds of chocolates but you can also check out chocolate sculptures and make your own delicious choc creation.

Park Güell
Designed by celebrated Barcelona architect and artist Antoni Gaudí, this park was built between 1900 and 1914. Prepare to be blown away by the unique designs of the buildings and structures here. The park is one of many of Gaudí’s works classed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
