Alila Anji China

Anji is China’s first national ecological county, and one of the nation’s sustainable environmental development zones, in the Zhejiang province. As the location for the Oscar-winning movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the green and lush area provides a calm, unspoilt backdrop for the area’s first eco-luxury resort. Alila Anji is designed to resemble a traditional Chinese village, with whitewashed exteriors and sweeping dark-tiled roofs, and comprises 74 stately villas and rooms, which combine native woods, bamboo and stone. The resort’s main restaurant serves international cuisine, while the Chinese restaurant, with five private dining rooms, provides authentic Chinese farm-to-table cuisine.
