Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch, London

London’s latest luxury boutique hotel, Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch, has used its colourful past to create a one-of-a kind stay in the capital. The Grade II-listed building served as the Old Street Magistrates’ Court and Police Station from 1903 until 1996. The former Courtroom Number 1 now hosts the main casual fine-dining restaurant whilst the contemporary wing houses a 196-seat cinema, a two-lane bowling alley and an events space. The hotel’s luxury spa features a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, treatment rooms, steam room and sauna. Of the 86 guest rooms and 42 suites, the most coveted are the Shoreditch Sky Terrace Suites, two one-bedroom residences each boasting panoramic London skyline views and a mini cinema lounge.
