The Old Clare Hotel Sydney


Originally a pub and brewery in Chippendale, Sydney’s latest hip neighbourhood, The Old Clare Hotel’s two heritage-listed buildings have been adjoined by a glass atrium to become one. Through a sensitive restoration, the rooms on the first three levels provide a luxurious, semi-industrial feel and showcase the heritage aspects of the buildings with exposed brick, concrete and timber panelling. Rooms on the top level are loft style with a more contemporary feel and include a generous lounge with bed and bathroom on an upper floor. The hotel also features a rooftop bar and pool, as well as three unique restaurants, which include the inspired work of Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton.
